Carol Ingram, Designer for Sulky of America, shows us how to tame those beautiful, expensive fabrics that make the most delicious pillows. Using Sulky Tender Touch Iron-On Stabilizer that does not change the hand, feel or look of the original fabric, Carol shows us some secrets couture sewers use to control the raveling and fraying of those expensive fabrics and also how to use this anti-ravel technique for garment making as well.

Carol created a "scrunched" silk dupioni pillow that is just breathtaking. She shows you how to create the scrunched fabric, stabilize it, and then make it into elegant pillows. She also shares a hand knit "fabric" which she accented with silk dupioni piping and borders. Knitters beware - you will be addicted!

There are ruched pillows, serger pillows, pleated pillows, braided pillows and more! All these magnificent techniques could easily be converted to elegant wearables too! (I've put my bid in for the flower pillow, but I think Joyce got there first! And I can't wait to try the knitted pillow ...Patti)
