Use your embroidery machine to create realistic, dimensional fur-like stitches. This 100% acrylic thread blooms when brushed to reveal a luxurious softness, perfect for stitching furry friends. Included in the Fur Filaine Collection are twelve 435-yard spools of 12 wt. thread in colors that closely resemble animal fur. From whites to tans to oranges, grays, and browns, you'll have what you need to mix and match, creating all sorts of life-like animal designs. This collection includes all the Filaine colors needed to embroidery the Sulky Peekaboo Pets collection. Don't forget to pick up a Filaine wire brush to fluff your stitches after the embroidery is complete!

NOTE: Rayon thread required for collection is sold separately.

I have done all the tricks and suggestions with embroidery Foxy Filaine. I cannot get through it without the thread making a huge nest under the hoop. I am using the recommended needle, bobbin thread, slow speed, and the Foxy embroidery pattern. I have a Janome Skyline 9. What should I do next? If I can't get through the pattern provided, I will need to return the thread. I was really looking forward to doing the coming animals in the next months as released. So disappointed. See more »

I am sorry you are having trouble with the Filaine thread. It does require special handling and we want you to have success with it. Make sure the auto-cutting function is turned off so the thread isn't pulled to the wrong side and knotted at the start of a new color. Have you tried fiddling with the tension at all? Some people have had success with lowering it to 1.2 and adjusting up to 1.75 if needed. Also make sure to follow the color chart so you aren't stitching the areas digitized for 40 wt thread with the Filaine. If you continue to have trouble, please email us at info@sulky.com so we can try and troubleshoot further.
