This in-the-hoop project is a reversible wall hanging that's perfect to hang on your door or by your desk during the Halloween season. The "witch" is either "IN" or "OUT," depending on which way you display the sign. With a few minor color skips you can also make this into a mug rug, using either the Witch is "OUT" or "IN" design, as desired. The witch's skirt is done as in-the-hoop appliqué, so you can display your favorite spooky-themed fabric in that area for fun and whimsy, too.

The wall hanging is completed in two hoopings; you need at least a 6x10 hoop to complete both hoopings. First, you'll stitch "The Witch is OUT" and then you'll stitch "The Witch is IN," with a fabric or ribbon hanger attached. Then you'll add "The Witch is OUT" to the front design and complete the design steps to attach them together. You can hand sew the turning hole closed or use double-sided basting tape to secure the project opening shut when complete.
