What’s Included:

  • In-the-Hoop Embroidery Files - Two designs that make up the front/back of the door hanger.

  • Sulky Halloween Felty Assortment – A spooktacular selection of Halloween-ready colors for the background & witch skirt appliqué.

  • Witch Is In/Out Thread Palette – Coordinating Sulky Rayon, Bobbin & Filaine Thread colors selected to bring the witchy design to life.

  • Sulky Solvy® Stabilizer – Helps protect the Felty from wire brushing during the Filaine step & makes detailed stitches come out spellbindingly smooth.

  • Sulky Stiffy™ Stabilizer – Adds structure and stability so the finished door hanger hangs straight throughout multiple uses.

    Cute but spider was

Posted by Denise on Sep 7th 2026

I really liked this and made a couple of them. BUT I just couldn’t get the spider to stitch with either a 14 or a 16 needle. So I just redigitized it and it looks great.

    Witch is In/Our

Posted by Penny Joiner on Sep 7th 2026

This was a fun project. I had never worked with filaine thread, so it was a bit of a learning curve. The door hanger turned out great. I made a few changes, like metalic gold thread on the buckles and buttons on her shoes and then I made the orange stars on her toes in that same gold thread. It turned out cute.

    The Witch is In/Out

Everything worked well. I forgot to not iron on the witch's skirt and the felty got roughed up, but that was my fault. It turned out cute.
