Sulky 60 Wt. Bobbin Thread is a lightweight spun polyester thread to use in the bobbin with Sulky Rayon Thread or Sulky Metallic Thread on top. Won't fray, fuzz, or shrink!
I checked with our operations manager, and it should not have been labeled that way, but it could have been a misprint from years ago, that we don't remember. It is very likely the same product as 882-0010, we have never changed the product since it's been in our line. See full answer »
Because bobbin thread doesn't show in most embroideries. However, we do have 60 wt. PolyLite in 36 solid colors, should you need or want colored bobbin thread. We also have prewounds in black and white, and grey and tan. See full answer »
It's not the same, but it is the same weight. The bobbin thread is spun polyester, which feels a little "hairy". Some people prefer this because it seems to knot better for general sewing and quilting. But the PolyLite is a wonderful bobbin thread. And it comes in 36 colors which is nice sometimes, too.
